You added a product, saved it, opened the store — and it isn’t there.
It isn’t lost. One of four things is hiding it.
1. The switch is off
At the top right of the product page there is an online status switch. If it is set to No, the product exists but isn’t available.
That is the first thing to check — and the most common cause.
2. No category assigned
In the Basic settings tab, under Associations. A product without a category doesn’t appear in any listing — only to someone who knows its direct address.
Assign at least one, and mark it as the main category.
3. The quantity is zero
In the Quantities tab. If it is zero and the settings don’t allow selling without stock, the product disappears from the store.
That behaviour is changed in Shop Parameters → Product Settings — that is where you decide whether an out-of-stock product is hidden or shown as unavailable.
4. The cache
If everything above is fine and the product still isn’t there — the cache is serving the old version.
Advanced Parameters → Performance → Clear cache. Then refresh with Ctrl+F5.
A detail about combinations
If the product has combinations (sizes, colours), check that at least one of them has stock. A product whose combinations are all at zero behaves as sold out.
The order to check in
Switch → category → quantity → cache. In that order, because that is also how often each one turns out to be the cause.
